Canon PIXMA TS3350

Top device - price/performance is right.

My opinion: In this price range, you don't need to expect fast printing, automatic sheet feed, double-sided printing or commercial-quality photo printing. But if you are an occasional user and print out a form, a ticket or a few pages of text with diagrams, then the device will be useful. Even photos look quite good from a distance of 30 cm. The scanner works better than my other, 15-year-old device. In my opinion, the copy function is absolutely practical for forms.
I connect and use the device to my computer via USB cable, which is why I can't comment on the Wi-Fi and the app.
Why I'm so happy with the device: I would gladly have invested up to 15 times more money for a printer if I had received a reliable printer for the next few years in return. However, cheeky business practices seem to have become established on the printer market, such as
- Unjustified prices for ink cartridges
- Constantly changing print head types, so that it is unclear whether you will still get a replacement in 5 years' time
- Even more expensive ink tank printers deactivate after a certain number of uses/print pages (ink sponge full)
In view of these business practices, I wanted to limit my investment as much as possible and am now enjoying a low-cost device where you can limit the running costs by refilling cartridges.
There is a lot of information on the internet about the running costs of inkjet printers. Under the title "Printer Ink Scam Myths Tested" you can find a YouTube video, which was essential for the purchase decision of the device I bought here.

Arrived quickly and with all attachments, albeit a refurbished printer. Thank you.
It's a great printer with lots of features, and it's easy to use with the mobile app. What's more, the basic pack includes ice paper so you can test print your best photos. For the price, I can't fault it, and I highly recommend it.

Starts with constant connection problems, goes on to the fact that the part pulls in EVERY sheet at an angle, so that you can solve a printer jam every few seconds, when something actually comes out, the quality is under all sow.

Super small, light and good.

I bought on the site, delivered quickly, but the installation was not at all clear. Had to go and see on Youtube how to connect it. The Canon website is a disaster when it comes to information about the printer.
What's more, the printer number isn't the one on the box, but the number written very small on it.
Otherwise printing is good, I haven't used the scanner yet and colour/black and white copies work perfectly.

When you install the printer, the device goes crazy. It only works once and has to be reinstalled every time. We had to dispose of the device and received a credit note. It was a great pity as it was a nice looking device.

The value for money is very good.
I needed a new printer. What I didn't realise was that the printer also has a scanner, which is very good and well worth the CHF 43.

This is the easiest printer I have bought in my 30 years! I always had HP printers and always had problems with installation and when they were installed they often didn't print! With this Canon printer I didn't have to do anything,,, plug it in, connect the cable to the printer and it works!

Worst printer ever, bought it during the pandemic and still not able to connect to my laptop. What a waste of money!

Rating only written after years of purchase. It is too loud and therefore not very comfortable. I soon replaced the device with a Canon TR4551.

I'm mainly disappointed with the aesthetics of this printer. I indulged in colour for once and instantly regretted it. The reflections taken on the photo for sale are not at all the same as in reality. The plastic looks cheap and the red colour doesn't look as premium as it does in the photo.
What's more, Bluetooth connectivity with my Mac only worked once during installation, and since then it's been impossible to get it working again. I've had to resign myself to plugging in a cable every time I want to print.
Disappointing, it's by making products like this that we continue to pollute.

I have been running on the low ink warning for the colour ink cartrige for a year now, waiting for it to say when it is done so I can put the new fresh ones in, but printing like once a week on it slightly coloured text documents seems to not bother it at all. Great product. I use it wired via USB not wireless via it's wifi.

Good price-performance ratio
This is the third PIXMA I've bought, all for occasional use in home offices. They're straightforward and reliable. But I never use colour ink, only B&W. Easy to recommend them unless you are a frequent user wanting more speed and refinement.

I bought it as a spare printer. The price and performance are right.
