Super wide angle lens, I am very satisfied!

I have had very good experiences so far, especially the strong distortions towards the edges of the image, which are otherwise common with wide-angle lenses, did not occur. This feature is especially appreciated for interior shots or architectural images.
The only small weak point is the locking of the lens; for snapshots it takes too long to bring the lens into the operating position (buildings rarely run away, though...).
With a lightweight and portable design that's ideal for travel, the EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM ultra-wide-angle lens for Canon mirrorless system cameras is perfect for accurately capturing wide scenes and stunning architecture. The 11-22mm focal length range offers a very wide angle of view for sweeping landscapes and all other subjects where you want more in the frame without taking a few steps back. With a closest focusing distance of only about 0.15 metres, you can get very close to the subject. This makes the lens suitable not only for landscape shots, but also for great close-ups. The stepping motor ensures virtually silent focusing during video recording and the image stabiliser technology compensates for camera shake for high-quality freehand shots - even in low light.
However, I also recommend taking a basic zoom lens such as the EF-M 15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM or the EF-M 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM lens when shooting streets or landscapes to be ready for other types of shooting such as portraits or action shots.

Good universal zoom for small focal lengths. Ideal travel companion. Could be a little faster in this category.
Qualitative images for this lens class - material quality and operation very good.
The EF-M 11-22mm lens is 220g, significantly heavier than the EF-M 15-45mm at 130g. The overall depth (lens length) of 58mm is greater than the 44.50mm of the EF-M 15-45mm. This is purely for information and not for evaluation.
The lens is neat, cleanly finished and consists mainly of metal & glass elements (very pleasing).

Very Good wide-angle lenses for M series Canon camera.
It is a good wide-angle lens, had it been a little brighter it would have been much better.

Actually I don't write comments. Today I'll make an exception.
Bought the 22mm f2 and had it as "always on" on my Canon. However, I always had a bit too little landscape on the picture. So I bought the 11-22mm and because I now have 22mm anyway, I sold the pancake. Do I regret it?
Not for a second. Don't get me wrong, the pancake is also great and very small, but just not the perfect choice for me. 11mm is great, then I'm happy to accept the size. If you are not sure, I can recommend it to you!

Genius lens for architecture and landscape when travelling, as very compact.
More than satisfactory price/quality!
