Good hardware mediocre software
The printer is good but the software is not very user-friendly.
In addition, the software is not included and has to be downloaded from the Brother website.
That wouldn't be a problem but there are various software products for this printer and it is very poorly described on the website which software is for what.... So you just have to install it and try out what you need.Pro

What more could you want!
I have had the product since 21.03.2017.
At the beginning I had a problem with the installation, but Brother's support was very professional and quick to help me. For anyone who has a purpose for the label printer, the Brother QL-820NWB is a very good choice. I find the Wi-Fi function great because I can sit on the sofa and print labels with my iPad at the same time.
A full 5 out of 5 stars for this product!Pro

Small, fine label printer
Because the Model 820 also supports WiFi, it can be easily integrated into a home network. So you can quickly print a label from any computer or smartphone. Brother's software recognizes the device reliably. It can also be set up as a conventional printer without any problems.

Good, but not as good as its predecessor.
Product has a good price-performance ratio, but is not as good as its predecessor 720NWB, which is much higher quality.
I had installation problems and Brother support could not help me. They told me the machine had a hardware defect. Then after 3 hrs I found out that the Windows setting still overrides the default label settings.Pro

- Different label sizes can be used
- Labels from 3t suppliers can be used
- Small and handy, always fits somewhere where it won't get in the way.
- The programme recognises the label that is currently inserted.
- Many possibilities like automatic date, QR codes...
- High resolution (Attention! Must be changed in the programme from fast to high quality)
- Expandable with battery

- Designing something in the programme is an imposition (I import PDFs from InDesign).
- So far I have not found a way to print borderless/over-edge.

Does what he must
If you want to operate the printer via WLAN, I recommend connecting it via LAN first and configuring it that way. The printer is used in a practice for appointment cards and patient labels. It works perfectly!

Good product for all who are looking for something simple and good to label or to create labels for shipping, hobby, labelling or just to keep things tidy. With the 2 colours (black and red) you can also bring some creativity and variety to the label.
