Good sound, but installation was not that easy
Nice design, good sound, but the installation via mobile app was not easy and cost me a few beads of sweat. In the end, however, everything worked, although the voice control only works via Google because Alexa doesn't work in Switzerland.
Dirt, dirt and nomal dirt
First of all, the product is great.
However, the setup (update loop) required 2 hours of patience from an expert computer scientist. All of the update options provided by Bose failed. Only the manual update after repeated attempts via the direct WLAN of the system worked (this method is not described by Bose). According to the Bose forum, others with the same problem (but presumably without an IT degree) have sent the product back as defective.
After the Homespeaker 300 was ready for use, the manual update had to be carried out on the Soundbar 700, otherwise the grouping would not work (another 25 min effort). However, this is not pointed out in the Bose Music App...
Maybe I was unlucky and the whole thing was an isolated case.... However, should returns occur: this is the "defect" and, according to the Bose forum, a frequent problem.
2.5 hours is too much setup time for a sound system of this type.

Great sound, beautiful design
A super device with a somewhat limited range of functions. There are various services that are not available (NAS, Plex, etc.). Spotify is only possible on one device at a time. As soon as you play another playlist on another home speaker, the other one switches off.
But the sound is top for this size. The bass is nice and rich and fills the room nicely. The workmanship is high quality and feels good. The Google Assistant works well. I would buy again.Pro

Perfect for listening to the radio
The Bose speaker provides good listening quality. The dedicated application is a bit limited.

Brilliant speaker, misleading advertising
Brilliant speaker. Unfortunately, Alexa integration doesn’t work in Switzerland, probably the seller could mention this. That’s the only (not very important) flaw I found
