First the good news: the sound is VERY good! The battery lasts a long time and the materials are of high quality. The range via the dongle is also good.
However, I have 4 problems with this headset, which is why I sent it back:
When I used the headset for the first time there was a pop before and after every sound (system notification, end of a song, ...). After googling around, it turned out that these headphones need a firmware update. So I used the app to update the headset. Still popped. Turns out the USB-C dongle needs to be updated too, even if I was using it in wired mode.
Then next problem:
Due to the planar-magnetic drivers, if you touch them a bit, they may continuously make soft pops. Very annoying if you switch off the music for a moment to concentrate and then there is a background noise... However, this can also be fixed by placing the speakers upright at night (I don't know why) or playing at full volume for 10-15 minutes and taking care not to touch the headphones if possible...
Furthermore, the shape doesn't fit well on my head. It generally hangs too far forward and therefore comes off my head more quickly. In addition, the microphone is cheekily bad for this price category.
The last problem and the reason why I ended up returning it: After 10 days, the headset simply started to disconnect from the PC from time to time (ang. via dongle). The microphone is only recognised again after approx. 30 seconds, which has a really negative effect on voice calls!

Second Maxwell model that I will have to return for the same reasons as the first.
-Crackling sound. According to Audeze this is normal for magnetic planar headphones. I have two other models of magnetic planar headphones with 0 problems.
-The microphone records randomly, it doesn't often pick up the first 2 or 3 seconds of recording.
I wanted to like this headset, because the sound is really good, but impossible to appreciate with the obvious QC problems.

Previously had the Sennheiser GSP 500 and the Beyerdynamix MMX 300 and neither even come close to this headset.

I'd been wanting a headset for a while to replace my wired beyerdynamic, which was starting to show signs of fatigue. At last, a real quality wireless headset!
