Astro Gaming C40 TR

The controller doesn't feel bad at first because of the material, but that's all. The sticks are an improved alibaba version and tend to get stuck. The paddles are nice but just don't feel right. A pc controller for the ps4...
A lot of people have asked for increased stick tension, but have found that their Aim has gotten worse with the c40..I had an Xbox Elite controller and my Aim was always above average (I play a lot and practice for hours every day). With the c40 I just can't make small adjustments and as someone who has played mostly Rainbow Six Siege, it's brutal. I stopped playing because I can't do well anymore, even though I used to be diamond (best rank in the game).
Among the controllers from scuf gaming, I was now able to test the c40. Even the packaging is something to behold. The controller itself feels good, even though it's far too heavy for a pro controller. The pros even take the rumbles out of the scufs so that they're lighter, so why astro doesn't pay attention to that is beyond me. The sticks are easy to remove, but they don't feel nearly as sticky as the scuf ones, but they last longer on the surface, and of course they can stick more often. The paddles are a matter of taste, unsuitable for my hands. The programmability eliminates it from tournaments, so it's not for me.
After a month of use, the L3 key does not work anymore, after several researches on the internet it appears that many players encounter this problem. In short, a ruined gaming experience after a short time, for such a small amount of money it's unacceptable

I bought this pad with modest expectations, without thinking of becoming a pro player or anything else. Initially I was very happy with it, very good ergonomics, nice design, adjustable to my liking. But after only a few days I experienced the first problems with the analogues (especially L3). I reset it several times, changed the analogue dead zone, took it apart and cleaned it, but nothing changed. There are constant 'drift' problems and something on the mechanical level doesn't work properly (in games where you run with L3 it crashes all the time). Reading various forums a lot of users have this kind of problem without being able to do anything except return the controller and have it replaced with a new one. Several users have replaced a ton of pads but all of them have the same problem. Personally, I am not at all satisfied with the product, considering the high price. Impossible to use in most games because of this problem it presents.
I personally would not recommend this product.
Good PS4/PC gaming controller

I was basically very satisfied with the Contoller. I am only dissatisfied with the service life of some parts because they do not last 2 years for regular use.

Visually and the quality of the material actually make a good impression. It lies well in the hand and has a pleasant weight. Unfortunately, the controller is no longer playable after only 2 months of use because of the stick drifts. The problem could not be solved despite new sticks.

Great controller, bought it to play Rocket League. 10000* better than a PS4 controller. Custom software to map buttons is perfect.
The only thing I have to say is that there are two red switches at the back to shorten the movement of the triggers. I sometimes activate them by mistake, because they move very easily, then my car still drives at walking speed :P I thought the trigger was broken the first time I activated it by mistake.

I had problems with the sticks right from the start... Over time it became unplayable. I suddenly couldn't sprint straight because. Now I have to send the controller back and wait 2-4 weeks....

The controller is not recommended for players who have been playing with the normal PS4 controller for years. it takes too much getting used to... even after 1 week of playing, it still doesn't feel good.

High quality, a pleasure to hold in the hand... Soon, however, the "stick drifts" appeared, which are extremely annoying when playing. Even with updates and re-sets, these drifts cannot be removed. This problem is well known (see google search). I sent the controller back today after 3 months. Let's see what comes back... Oh well, the L2/R2 pushers are pretty sharp. I would buy this controller again if you could play with it without any problems.

A very good quality controller. Possibility to change the joysticks as you wish. Very easy to use. I recommend it 100%.
Good workmanship, for players who would like to play with a layout of an XBOX controller on the PS4. Unfortunately, no USB-C port.
Cool part Cleanly processed
The controller is very good, super quality. Very well made.
I have quite small hands and get along great with the controller, big hands could be even better for it.
The pads behind are very well made and react immediately, they are also very easy to reach.
What might bother some is that the controller is heavier than others. But you can compare it with an Xbox One controller with 2 batteries.
I crystallised at the beginning to find the software but otherwise I am fine
The controller has no flaws at all. Except maybe that if you have a Ps4, you have to switch it on by hand first and can't just press the Ps4 button like with the original Ps4 controller. But that's hardly a problem.
Because I have bigger hands, I thought it would fit better in my hand. But it doesn't. Really uncomfortable. Besides, it was sent to me broken at home.
I've been playing it for a while now.
No problems that have been mentioned here in the review before me. Maybe because I play with the Microsoft layout.
