The manufacturer states that this product is suitable for ages 10 and up.

The Mitu building blocks are compatible with those of Lego Mindstorms. The electronic elements (controller, motor, sensor), however, are not compatible with Lego Mindstorms.

I haven't found any accessories for the robot yet either. But maybe you can knit something together from another terminal block manufacturer (L...). There are useful tips at freggelweb.de! Have a look there ;-)
