As far as I know, there are no headphones with built-in fans. There are only headphones with air holes that affect the acoustic of the headphones. These headphones do not have such holes.
with the headphones off, try holding the buttons down until they flash red and white. they will then be reseted. if that doesn't work, you will probably have to file a warranty claim.
