According to our supplier, the Varta Silver Dynamic AGM is supplied without a BEM code. When the battery is installed and connected to the diagnostic device, a code appears, where the last digit of the code must be incremented by 1. Vehicle batteries are not covered by the warranty as they are consumables. Decreasing performance over time is part of normal wear and tear and is not considered a defect. For this reason, unfortunately, no warranty claims can be made here. However, there is an exception if the battery does not perform at all or does not perform as expected from the outset. In such a case, it is considered defective and will be replaced by us.

Why do I get an email from Galaxus saying that the battery will not be delivered until the end of January? And here in the shop it says for days that the battery will be delivered within 3 days?

Helpful answer

Never trust the supplier's stock figures, especially not in winter with batteries and such low quantities. If you need them urgently, I would order them in parallel from another supplier.

The battery should be programmed in V.A.G.com (VCDS) after installation in an Audi. In addition to the manufacturer and the capacity, the serial number must also be entered. Apart from the Varta code A14H151052XM, I can't find an actual serial number. What is the serial number for these batteries? Thank you!
