To use the translation function of the Timekettle M3, there are different modes that are suitable depending on the application scenario. Touch mode is recommended for one-to-one conversations and requires you to touch the earpiece to start translation. This mode allows you to speak without manual pauses, which makes communication easier. So you need to touch the earpiece to activate the translation, but there is no need to do this with every sentence as the function works continuously as long as the mode is active.

Yes, that is correct. You can have a dialogue with your partner by each wearing an earpiece. The Timekettle M3 allows for a fluid conversation in different languages, such as German and Spanish, thanks to its simultaneous interpretation technology. This technology automatically captures speech and logically divides it into sentences to ensure seamless communication.

Hello Matthias, The Timekettle M3 real-time translator uses patented simultaneous interpreting technology to automatically capture speech and divide it into sentences. This enables a fluent conversation without the need to constantly press the headphones. The technology divides speech logically into sentences, so you don't have to pause between sentences to translate. Nevertheless, it may be necessary to change the mode or language manually, which can be done via the app or the device itself.

In listening mode, if there is no background noise and the volume is high, you can be within 2 metres. It is best if the phone acting as a microphone is close to the sound source. 50 centimetres. It translates well, like Google translator.

The Timekettle M3 real-time translator headphones are mainly designed for translating languages in real time, listening to music and making phone calls, but they are not specifically designed to connect to TVs or streaming services such as Netflix. You can connect the headphones to your smartphone via Bluetooth and use translations there, but they do not offer direct support for translating audio content from TVs or streaming services. Such applications would require more specialised solutions or devices designed to translate audio from media sources.

For the Listen Mode of the Timekettle M3 real-time translator, it is not necessary to use an additional microphone on the mobile. The device itself is equipped with integrated microphones that have been specially developed for capturing and translating speech. These microphones are able to capture the speaker's speech directly and accurately without the need for an additional mobile phone microphone.

Hello Marco At first I was really sceptical but once you have understood the settings and know how to use them I have to say I think they are great. I also had a team meeting with French colleagues last week and what was a bit more tedious was that when two people talk, M3 doesn't recognise who said what and since you hear with a delay anyway, the sentences sometimes don't make sense. So if you tell them to speak a little slower and pause from one person to the other, you understand it very well. In short, if I used to understand 40% I am now at 70-80% and so for me they fulfil their duty. I hope this was helpful. Greetings

You can only have all languages available if you are in online mode. In the offline translation there is no such option, you only have certain translations, there is only German English or German Chinese. I have not found anything else.
