It really is very confusing. The main difference is the warranty. The CH version includes an extended 10-year warranty from Tamron. Whereas the import version only promises the statutory 2-year warranty. According to research, there were opinions that there are differences in manufacturing. However, this is a myth. Both lenses were tested in a direct comparison and gave the same results. You simply pay more for the extended warranty upgrade, which I think is fine. It's to my advantage in case I want to sell the lens again in the next few years. Hope this answer helps you.

The lens is actually great for video, but a bit heavy and unbalanced with the weight distribution (could be a bit difficult with the gimbal if used). The variable aperture speaks against the 28-200, which is quite low as this is not optimal for a zoom either. But if a Sigma 150-600 is not a problem, it will also work with the 35-150. With the Tamron 17-70 you have to be careful because it is an APS-C lens, so it corresponds to a 25-105. For wide angle, a Tamron 17-28 would be more suitable.
But it should work, you just have to be aware that you are working with two hands and not just one.
This should be the case if the lens is not marked "imported". Unfortunately, Digitec sells both grey imports and officially imported Tamron lenses. I asked about this one and the lens came from Perrot AG Biel, the official Tamron importer. The security sticker was missing on the 70-300, but it was marked as officially imported and Perrotimage registered it for me for the 10-year warranty. If it was a grey import, I would send it back as hard as nails.
