Sony FDR-X3000R incl. finger grip
30p, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
The following accessories are included in the scope of delivery: Remote control, charging station, battery pack, underwater housing, fastening buckles, 1 x micro USB cable, adapter holder, finger grip.
Adapters for GoPro accessories are available in shops. I can mount the camera on my snow sports helmet this way. On a standard tripod, the camera can be fixed normally. There is a 1/4 thread at the bottom.
Unfortunately, the screen is not dive-proof. Unfortunately, you have to film there "blind". It works with a little practice, but of course it's not a hit...
the camera has 3 connections under the cover: mini HDMI out multi external microphone input (3.5mm) :) but these are only accessible WITHOUT the underwater housing otherwise the lid cannot be opened
Hello Acid1981 I have the same phenomenon. If you switch off Bluetooth, this should no longer happen, otherwise Bluetooth consumes power even when switched off. See also https://www.reddit.com/r/sonyactioncam/comments/5i8bhx/comment/dbzuwr9 Good luck and have fun with the cam!
Yes, it works without any problems. Only the battery is no fun
The 12 MP are meant for the photo mode of this camera. But only if the "WIDE" angle mode is enabled. In video mode you only have around 8.2 MP. You can check it out here: https://www.sony.com/electronics/actioncam/fdr-x3000-body-kit/specifications You'll find the relevant info in the row: "Still Image Size (Photo Mode)"
According to the same question already asked in german, the following is included in the box: Remote control, Charging cradle, Battery pack, Underwater housing, Mounting buckles, Micro USB cable, Adapter holder, Finger grip Source: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/QuestionAndAnswer/was-beinhaltet-das-zubehoer-59927
The data can be transferred easily via WiFi (camera connected directly to iPad/iPhone, control via Sony app) or from the SD card. For transfer via SD card, you need the Lightning to SD card reader (Apple, approx. 35.-) and an SD adapter for MicroSD (was included with my Samsung card). Have fun.
I wouldn't recommend it, the microphone opening is on the front. The waterproof housing really makes sense, it's small and offers good mounting options...plus it protects the expensive cam😉.
The remote is waterproof - perfect for playing around the surface - but it wont work underwater because WIFI doesn't transmit under water. You cannot run it from USB - the cradle is just for charging and no function works when connected. It is worth mention that remote keeps charge much longer than camera though. Another point to mention is that camera do work while on USB but then it doesn't charge. For charging to occur it needs to be switched off.
Yes, it does. Also included is the finger grip.
