The Skullcandy Crusher Evo and the Skullcandy Crusher differ in several key aspects: - Design and Comfort: - The Crusher Evo has a modernized design with slightly oval-shaped ear cups, while the original Crusher has a more vintage look with round ear cups. The Evo is also lighter, weighing 312 grams compared to the Crusher's 275 grams, making it more comfortable for prolonged use. - Battery Life: - The Crusher Evo offers up to 40 hours of battery life on a single charge, whereas the original Crusher provides around 38 hours. - Sound Customization: - The Crusher Evo features Skullcandy's Sound ID, which allows for personalized sound profiles through a hearing test. The original Crusher lacks this advanced feature. - Drivers: - The Crusher Evo uses two full-range 40mm audio drivers coupled with two additional subwoofer drivers, providing a more enhanced sound experience. The original Crusher uses a standard driver with a secondary subwoofer. - Connectivity: - The Crusher Evo comes with Bluetooth 5.0, offering better connection quality and range compared to the Crusher's Bluetooth 4.1. - Microphone Quality: - The Crusher Evo has improved microphone quality for better voice clarity during calls, whereas the original Crusher uses an older microphone model. - Charging Port: - The Crusher Evo uses a USB-C port for charging, while the original Crusher uses a micro USB port. - Additional Features: - The Crusher Evo includes features like tactile button response and audio calibration technology (Audiodo), which are not present in the original Crusher. These differences highlight significant improvements in design, sound quality, and functionality in the Crusher Evo compared to the original Skullcandy Crusher.

Hi According to the manufacturer, they are neither waterproof (not certified) nor should you wear them if you sweat a lot (e.g. at the gym etc.). So I would say at your own risk. I don't think they will break right away, but they are not suitable for that. I hope this answer helps you to decide. :)
Not for me, I hope I could help.
The change is definitely worth it. The sound is worlds better, the workmanship is superb and the BASS is even more awesome. I had the first Crusher Wireless, then the Crusher 360, then the Crusher ANC and now these. They are the best, even better than the ANC: The ANC are not as well made as these.
