I would like to get this tv here, but I have concerns about the "new" samsung tv remote control, which has as few buttons as possible and I hear from a lot of people that the remote control is a bit awkward/annoying, I can understand that. Do any of you understand why this TV should still cost CHF 2970? I have seen that the successor model is listed at a lower price. And at the competition, this model currently costs less than CHF 1000.-. That makes absolutely no sense ecologically or economically. I hope Digitec doesn't want to sell the TV at this price (that would almost be cheating the customer).

Is there an exact manual for setting the picture for normal HD TV and 4K (Netflix & co) you can set each source separately but unfortunately I can't find an exact manual for this TV.

I stream MKVs with the H.264 codec from the NAS via TwonkyServer (can also be something else) via LAN to the TV (Samsung UE55KS7090). Unfortunately, the TV is too old for the H.265 codec. My question now would be whether streaming H.265 works with this model (it's time for a new one after 8 years of faithful service).

Hello, I see that this TV is HDMI 2.1 compatible. However, if I understand correctly, to benefit from eARC, all the elements of the system (console, TV and sound bar) must be compatible. If this TV has only one HDMI connector out of the 4 HDMI 2.1 compatible, it makes the set-up impossible with two external devices: console and sound bar, because one of them should be connected to an HDMI 2.0 port.
