Don't buy bad! Have used 4 in 2 years. Always broken out of nowhere after 6 months.

I already have one but it no longer works. (Light is on, so fuse is ok, cable is good and connected correctly) I have the feeling that the remote or the remote cable is broken. Question for the Community: What happens if you turn the remote down very low and then unplug the remote? Is there then no sound (as set on the remote) or does the subwoofer realise that the remote is not plugged in and goes back to standard volume? There's nothing in the instructions about this. I wanted to look for all sources of error before ordering a new one.
