We use the Club 3D Ultra Smart (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/club-3d-ultra-smart-hdmi-vga-dvi-d-usb-30-lanrj45-dockingstation-5945860) here and it works perfectly. The only thing we needed was an adapter (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/q2power-world-to-switzerland-3-pol-typ-j-uk-aus-it-usa-reiseadapter-5778787) because the power adapter has a Schuko plug.

The Porsche Book One came onto the market in spring 2017 at a price of around CHF 2,800. It is based on a Microsoft Surface, but with Porsche design and corresponding components such as i7 2.7GhZ, 16GB Ram and 512GB SSD. The price differences are due to the fact that there are used devices as well as new devices currently for sale. Since I bought such a BookOne second-hand, I can only recommend it - it's cheaper and faster than many a cheap Surface.

It's hard to say when too much is too much. It was definitely quite difficult the first time, now it's easier. You hear the click and see the unlock symbol on the screen? Then it should work.

You can use this docking station; Club 3D USB 3.0 Ultra Smart Docking Station (HDMI, VGA, DVI-D, USB 3.0, LAN/RJ45) If you want to split the screens, it is important that one is connected with HDMI and the other with DVI/VGA. Otherwise the mouse would do the same on both. You can find more suggestions in the accessories section of the Porsche Design Book :-)

Thank you for the info! Bluetooth keyboard definitely does not solve this problem. If both parts cannot function autonomously, i.e. independently of each other, and at the same time, I see ABSOLUTELY NO benefit in this system. I could just as well continue to use my 10-year-old HP laptop and have to get up and move to the system every time I want to change something in the programme. A gross oversight in product development! NOBODY thought about how such a device could have been used in practice ALSO, and above all, as an alternative, but simply chose the path of least resistance. Always go with the crowd instead of being truly innovative! This feature, clever marketing and contacts to relevant trade magazines such as 'Stereo' etc. and the hi-fi and high-end freaks would be lining up. Too bad! In any case, I would have loved to buy this noble piece as a stylish music server, so that I could browse through the music tracks or operate 'Winamp' from the comfort of my sofa, both as a whole at the location of the system and with the tablet unit disconnected, while the keyboard unit always remains firmly connected to the hi-fi chain (USB>DAC>preamplifier>power amplifier) and external hard drive. Unfortunately not a purchase!
