That is correct. there is even a list of compatible projectors in the description. "Compatible with the following projectors"

Can a laptop - simultaneously use WLL to receive Wifi, and this adapter to connect the laptop to the projector? Or does it only work either laptop to projector - or internet signal via Wifi to laptop?

The laptop connects to the HD Cast to communicate with it. You can connect to the internet in the Optoma App.

I am looking for something that I can connect to the tv in my caravan. is there anything suitable? I would like to stream films from my mobile phone to the tv but I don't have wifi or anything.... is there a solution for this?

I have an Optoma beamer and would like to stream the sound via Airplay to an active box in addition to the picture. Is this possible with the HDCast Pro?

This device simply receives the signal - provided it is compatible with your projector. Please check with your playback device whether it is possible to stream to the speakers in parallel.
