LG UltraWide 40WP95CP-W
5120 x 2160 pixels, 39.70"
Hello. The two models are technically identical. The difference lies in the manufacturer number - according to LG, the model 40WP95XP-W is specifically intended for the Swiss market
Hello The display is 102 cm diagonally. I first had the Philips, but it didn't get along with my Mac Studio (often didn't wake up from standby). I then switched to the LG. I'm actually quite happy with it. I don't know the Dell. Greetings Thomy
I use it daily with my M1 MacBook Pro and have no problems with the resolution!
I may not be able to answer your question 100%. I have also attached several PCs. It has a USB TypeC port on the back, so you should be able to connect the Macbook there. In addition, I have connected the other devices via DisplayPort (2 connections) or HDMI. I can then select the individual sources in the menu. I hope this helps you.
Not sure why HDMI wouldn't work for you, but double check that you used the right USB-C cable: there are two in the box, one marked with a lightning symbol is actually not thunderbolt-ready. I made a similar mistake, but the second plain white cable worked like a charm with a Macbook Air. Also make sure you plug the cable in the correct socket on the monitor side. If none of this helps, can you tell me if your monitor works with any other video output at all?
Yes, the 40WP95CP-W is the successor. Same functionality, but it consumes slightly less power.
