Jabra Pro 930 Duo

Hello Cyb3rG When describing the features of these headsets, the terms "peripheral connection" and "peripheral signal transmission" are applied differently, and therefore cause confusion. -> In the case of the "older" type 5832442, these two terms refer to the connection of the base station or charging station with the PC: This is connected (wired!) to a USB interface of a PC (laptop) with a USB cable. The connection between the base station or charging station and the headset is a DECT radio link. I have 2 such older types that work exactly like this. -> With the "new" 17762873 (or MS type), the base station or charging station is also connected by wire to the USB interface of a PC (laptop). Obviously, the terms "peripheral connection" and "peripheral signal transmission" refer to the DECT radio corner between the base station or charging station and the headset. The two products mentioned above are the same in terms of interface (to the PC/laptop) and wireless connection of the charging base to the headset. Note that -> The connection of the PC (laptop) to the base station is always wired. -> There is always an additional power supply (small plug-in power supply unit): The base station or charging station is NOT powered via the USB interface! Complicated because the terminology is not applied consistently and clearly! ....because there are also other Pro-DUO headsets that do not have a USB interface and can only be operated on telephone systems.
I use this headset daily for Skype for Business calls and am very satisfied. No special installation necessary, just plug it in, select the headset and off you go.
The station is connected to the PC/notebook/docking station via USB and to the power socket via a power supply unit. Everything included.
According to Jabra, this requires an adapter (EHS36) and a cable set.
According to the information we have received, the dock station should come with it.
The abbreviation MS means that the headset is Skype certified (incl. Skype for Business). The test seal "Skype Certified" indicates that Skype technicians have tested the respective device and confirmed that it works properly with Skype.
