Hello, same question here, can someone from Digitec clarify the two references ?
This product is an external offer (evisto.ch CH). Unfortunately, we have no influence on the pricing in this case.
In my case it's about 11cm - but it's older and may have expanded. It falls off my head from time to time... Otherwise recommendable!
No, no worries on my side, everything is OK.
Yes, it works.
Do you mean a jack 3.5mm? Then you could unplug the Jabra from the middle control unit and you would have jack 3.5mm.
Unfortunately, I can't answer this question because I sent the headphones back quite quickly. My product was defective.
The "DUO" is equipped with a USB-C plug and the stereo version has a USB-A plug. With stereo, the headsets have speakers on the left and right. So if you also want to use the headset for music, I would recommend a stereo. It is also a question of which variant is more comfortable for you. "MS" and "UC" differ in certification. MS stands for Microsoft certification and is therefore optimised for Office/Teams and Skype products. The question here is with which software you will use the headset.
According to the manufacturer, the optical call display can be switched on/off manually and the headset cable is stated to be 1.2 m long.
No
Hi, this is long and i can see today it is not sure when this product is available again. But it is ordered. Example this Product is available tomorrow. Jabra Evolve 40 Duo MS (Kabel) You can cancel your order or take contact with the Digitec Customer Support for more information.
These headphones are wired (mini-jack and USB interface) and are primarily suitable as a telephone headset on the PC. For iPhone, I recommend either in-ear or closed earphones with Bluetooth or headphones that you connect to the lightening port using an adapter.
I also had this question and although there is a set with normal USB, I could not find it available anywhere. Due to time constraints, I ordered the headset with USB-C with a slim adapter called "Satechi USB 3.0 to (USB Type-C, 2.74cm)". With this, the headset works perfectly and I could also use it with USB-C directly.
That is possible, depending on the adapter for the 3.5mm jack from the Jabra.
According to our supplier unfortunately they do not have the correct adapter. In our range we have an adapter from 3.5 mm to 2.5 mm that should work, but we cannot guarantee it will work with that headset as we have not tested it. InLine 2.5mm – 3.5mm (3m, Entry, 2.5mm)
The difference between home and work is that at work you may have a computer specialist who has done the setup work for you. And yes, they don't just plug and unplug cables or reboot a computer...
Hello, I cannot answer this question because I do not use this connection. I used Bluetooth. But this did work. But I assume that if the jack fits on the Lightning adapter, this will also work. Mfg
What is "big head"? Dimensions needed. If you fear it won't fit, why not use a 'Jabra Elite 65t' which has no headset. Otherwise, the Evolve 40 is great!
Yes, this works, perhaps Jabra Direct still needs to be downloaded for call control; https://www.jabra.com.de/software-and-services/jabra-direct
We bought the Avaya, Cisco version for our SNOM handsets. Works perfectly with IPhone or IPad.
Hello Jonas - that's no problem at all. The headset consists of two parts: A USB connector with "control console" (preamplifier with function keys for telephony and volume) and a detachable headphone part (cable length approx. 1.2m) which has a mini-jack. It fits into the iPhone. You just don't have any control buttons on the cable (like with the original Apple headset). But the quality of the headphones is good. Speech quality through the microphone is also good. We have 6 such "sets" in our office for softphones and Skype and are very satisfied. I also use them on my iPhone now and then. Hope this helps you with your purchase decision ;-)
