The two ends go to the speaker; one end to the other cable f(if necessary) or directly to the receiver.
The signal for the subwoofer is always mono; you get about +3 dB out of it with the Y-cable.
Helpful answer
The three-metre Y-cable (connection B or 2-cinch) is only about 20cm long and the rest 280cm (connection A or 1-cinch).
