Hoi - Well, that can be unsatisfactory at best.... The clip (I don't have the exact one, but also such a "china clip" for GPs) on a piece of strap or fabric from the backpack, sometimes wobbles more than one would like (even with Hypersmooth it is then not so true). I solved this with a selfie bar and a camera/GP clip (selfie bar strapped on, which holds, bar not fully extended...looks ridiculous, "but does the trick"). - and otherwise I use the (Chinese) chest strap (also for kayaking or biking) - it holds, and the shot still looks very good "in the middle".

It wiggles like a lamb's tail on the sun visor. I would mount it with a suction cup on the windscreen or on the roof.
