Elgato Wave:3
Elgato Wave:3
I use this micro under Linux and it works. It reports as a USB device with 4 "interfaces", three using the standard Linux audio driver "snd-usb-audio", and one reporting as a "Vendor Specific Class", for which no driver is loaded (and none exists as far as I know). There are then also three audio channels available: Microphone, Analogue Ouput, and Multichannel Input. I have mainly used Microphone so far and the volume can be adjusted via the wheel on the Microphone. Most of the functions on the wheel seem to be in hardware and therefore work easily. So does the mute button on top of the microphone.

Yes it depends on the PC if the usb stays powered then the wave 3 stays on it's the same for me
If the mic can be operated on the table, the holder shown is absolutely sufficient from my point of view. The thing has enough weight. This way, the mic doesn't simply fall over because of cable movements.
