In short: No, they don't go together.
Let me briefly explain why.
Adapter (Delock SATA → M.2)
The Delock converter SATA 22-pin → M.2 NGFF (2.5") only works with M.2 SSDs that use SATA.
It supports M.2 modules Key B or B+M with SATA interface.
So:
- M.2 SATA SSD → works
- M.2 NVMe SSD → does not work
Your SSD
The Kioxia Exceria Plus G3 1TB is:
- Form factor: M.2 2280
- Interface: PCIe 4.0 / NVMe
- Speed up to 5000 MB/s
This is an NVMe SSD, not SATA.
You need instead:
- NVMe → PCIe adapter (for desktop mainboard)
or
- an NVMe USB enclosure
No, I have tried this device does not work
Only SATA SSD's are supported.
