This floppy drive can read floppy disks in 3.5" format. A floppy disk in this format has the size of 1.44MB. It is not suitable for CDs. For this you need a USB CD drive. I have both and both work perfectly. Greetings GH

The floppy disks I worked on had 1.44 MB, some floppy disks say 2HD on them.
