bluetooth works on 2.4 GHz, so it might have been a misconception.

it works with USB - thus wireless - but not really bluetooth...

I can't recommend this headset as it feels very uncomfortable and noises easily.

I think so, yes! At least in BF1 and Hunt: Showdown I have no problems.

Let's assume that you have not filtered this headset or that you have not looked into the specifications... You have three possibilities to find such incompatibilities:
- In the product overview of the headsets, switch on the filter options "Corsair" and "PS4".
- You now click on the product and then go to the specifications to see what is listed.
- Or you can go to the search engine of your choice and search for the product on the manufacturer's website and inform yourself there (or as I do to make sure I'm not claiming "bullshit").
And yes, this headset is plug and play compatible with the PS4.
