If it's like the 2x, then yes, but only with 300mm setting (like fixed focal length) and manual focus.
2x extender only works at 300mm and without AF.

Essentially, the image quality. Image quality (sharpness, contrast, colour fringing, etc.) cannot be read off from the given key figures. I used to have the old "non-L" lens and because it was not satisfactory by my standards, I bought this one and am more than satisfied. But it depends on your own standards, of course the consumer lenses (not L) are better than a smartphone. For quantitative measurements, the site www.dxomark.com is recommended. Furthermore, the L lenses are dust and splash-proof and are much more robust and durable, i.e. for professional use.

Hello Spooki It says so in the specifications. Filter thread 67mm
Yes, we also use it on a 60d. The apparent focal length then corresponds (as with all APS-C sensors) to 1.6x, i.e. 112-480 mm. Image quality and performance is really outstanding, both on full-frame and APS-C.
Included in the Red Weeks is the EF 70-300 f 1/4-5.6 IS II USM. This is the successor to the EF 70-300 f 1/4-5.6 IS USM. My EF 70-300 f1 /4-5.6L IS USM is a professional L-series lens. So it is not included in the Red Weeks. With kind regards M.Kilchör
