Can anyone explain to me why my Zenbook is making really loud fan noises after just 3 months of use?
These are Windows processes that load the processor (unnecessarily). Simply kill the process and the fan works normally.
No, unfortunately not at Digitec. Possibly directly from ASUS. I have not been able to find this combination at other retailers in Switzerland either.
The battery life is very good. With low screen brightness and keyboard illumination and Wi-Fi, the Zenbook easily lasts 6 hours of intensive continuous use (surfing and coding) or about 4 hours of Full HD video playback with headphones before it screams for the cable. I use Linux, and according to people I know, the runtime under Windows is even slightly longer (about +1h). With the WLAN switched off, the battery life increases by another hour. If anyone else is interested in running this Zenbook under Linux, I can recommend the following link before buying: https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2340639
not, we can offer you the 500gb version.
No, only the Mini Dock
I don't think so, but the community can't answer this question for you, so you'll have to contact customer service.
Unfortunately, we can't get this model in any other colour.
I quickly tried this on mine. It works.
Unfortunately, this is the only way we can offer it.
Unfortunately not.
