It depends! Many other aspects come into play first. For example - Is the software used Mac compatible? - Is the peripheral equipment Mac-compatible? - How should the data be transported? If the software runs on a Mac, the peripherals have the appropriate drivers to be used under Mac and the data should be brought to the destination via network, then this MacBook Pro is very well suited for this. If the data is to be burned on a blank disc, an external DVD burner would have to be used. Apple has a suitable one for this. I edit 4k movies with this machine and the editing is in real time (all effects are rendered instantly) and it doesn't judder a bit.
