Should actually work. The MacBook Pro is very powerful and can also process large coded images without jerking. However, you need to check if the software you are using for the MRI transfer works on a Mac and on the Catalina or Big Sur operating system.

It depends! Many other aspects come into play first. For example - Is the software used Mac compatible? - Is the peripheral equipment Mac-compatible? - How should the data be transported? If the software runs on a Mac, the peripherals have the appropriate drivers to be used under Mac and the data should be brought to the destination via network, then this MacBook Pro is very well suited for this. If the data is to be burned on a blank disc, an external DVD burner would have to be used. Apple has a suitable one for this. I edit 4k movies with this machine and the editing is in real time (all effects are rendered instantly) and it doesn't judder a bit. I also edit my RAW photos (each is about 21 MB) with it and have no problems either. Hope it helps. Greetings Madwinnix

We are working on expanding our range of accessories for these devices as quickly as possible. However, we do not have any more detailed information on this at the moment.

Yes, an operating system is already installed on the MacBook. That's the great thing about Apple devices. Apple has always supplied the hardware and software from a single source. That's why the operating system and the most important application software for text, photo, video and music management and editing are already installed and included in the price of the device. So are updates AND upgrades of later operating system versions. Since everything comes from a single source, it usually not only works better because it is coordinated. This also puts the higher price of Apple devices into perspective - at least a little ;-)
