The question is actually for Digitec, not for the community. I have noticed that Digitec has incorrectly entered the warranty for Professional Series Acer monitors in the system. The devices starting with B are Professional Series devices and Acer offers a 3-year warranty on them (not 2 years). This can also be read on the Acer warranty information page. I hope Digitec corrects the incorrect warranty information for the Acer Professional Series devices and I also hope that this adjustment will be recalculated for all buyers who already own such a device. I don't think it's very fair to the customer that this warranty information was recorded incorrectly. And this is also due to two aspects: 1. it discourages potential buyers from getting the device (only 24 months, ew, I'll buy something with 36) 2. it steals warranty time from the owner of such a Professional Series device, and if something does happen, the warranty expires after 24 months. It's also important to know that although Digitec only gives a 24-month warranty for Acer Professional Series products, these products do of course have a 36-month warranty (3 years). It is, of course, super complicated to file a warranty claim directly with Acer, but it is possible and no buyer of a Professional Series Acer device should make a fist in the matter if something happens after 25 months. It's also important to mention that displays last for half an eternity, so nothing breaks quickly. But I would still find it very fair if Digitec corrected the incorrect information in the webshop about the warranty and updated it retroactively for all buyers in the order process. Shouldn't be such a big deal, it's all IT :). The guarantee information from our side indicates that, unless otherwise stated, the guarantee process is handled by us in the first 24 months. The warranty periods specified by the manufacturer can be claimed thereafter. We have forwarded the problem you mentioned internally. The problem is often that we do not know that the manufacturer offers an extended warranty, sometimes only on individual models or series. Or that this is only offered for purchases within a certain period of time.
