The weight of the record puck stabilizes and calms the record on the turntable. This improves the sound of the turntable, particularly in terms of timing, resolution, and bass authority. With its 190 grams, this puck is perfect for smaller turntables, as it does not overly burden the turntable bearing, thus preventing increased rumble. Note: Not suitable for turntables where the spindle height of the platter exceeds 10.5 millimeters.
