Product details

The Portkeys BM5 III is a professional camera monitor designed for digital film and photography applications. This successor model to the BM5 features a 5.5-inch brightness display with a resolution of 1920x1080 for exceptional clarity in focus assessment and image composition. The monitor achieves a peak brightness of 1000 Nits for reliable visibility outdoors, even in direct sunlight. The aluminum alloy housing measures approximately 178x112x25 mm and weighs 450 g, providing robust durability with good portability. Comprehensive connectivity options include HDMI input and output ports for various camera signal formats, as well as a 3.5mm audio monitoring jack. The monitor integrates professional tools for video production such as focus peaking, false color exposure analysis, waveform monitoring, and customizable LUT support for precise color grading. Power is supplied via DC input or NP-F series batteries, with a typical operating time of 3-4 hours using standard NP-F970 batteries. The anti-reflective glass surface reduces reflections while maintaining image quality. The BM5 III is compatible with most modern digital cameras and camcorders, making it suitable for film production, documentary work, and studio photography where precise image monitoring is essential.
