The precise data retrieval is supported by a low-vibration steel chassis with an aluminum front, a generously sized power supply, and a particularly low-noise "Precision Clock," which clocks the drive and D/A converter with ±10ppm accuracy, effectively preventing sound-degrading jitter from occurring.

A nice synergy of comfort arises when the PD-30AE meets its network player counterpart, the N-30AE – the streamer then makes the CD player controllable via the Pioneer Remote App by relaying its commands through a remote cable.
