PSR-TRISAFE-S safety control unit. The PSR-TRISAFE-S is a standalone safety control unit with 20 safe inputs, four safe outputs, and two safe ground switching outputs. If additional safe outputs or safe relay outputs are needed, expansion modules for the standard safety relay can be wired to the safe outputs of the PSR-TRISAFE-S module. System developers should consider installing a safety expansion relay for two reasons: a) the PSR-TRISAFE-S module does not have enough safe outputs; b) a safe relay circuit is required to switch a voltage other than 24 V DC. The PSR-TRISAFE-S module is a 24 V semiconductor device. Intuitive three-stage software, tamper-resistant: password protection against unauthorized changes in the safety logic of the hardware and software: protection against unwanted changes in the safety logic with the confirmation button on the front of the device. All common safety functions can be easily and flexibly implemented: emergency stop and safety door monitoring, non-contact switches, safety sensors, laser scanners, optical devices (with or without shutdown) as well as safety mode selection, activation switch, two-hand control devices, 2 feedback outputs, 4 alarm outputs, and grounding output to enhance the safety of the monitoring circuit.
