In this ultimate action game, you launch your opponents off the stage. Faster combat mechanics, new items, new attacks, new defensive options, techniques, and more ensure epic battles, whether at home or on the go. The various game modes and options guarantee that everyone can join in. In Smash mode, choose stages, set the rules, and dive into battles for up to eight players. Alternatively, assemble a team of three or five fighters and compete in Squad Smash against your opponent's team in one-on-one battles. And that's not all. Each stage has a Battlefield and an Omega version. Familiar stages are now even better. Unique stage elements provide additional surprises, from stages that change shape to suddenly appearing guest characters. In the Stage Morph mode, you select two stages instead of one and experience an automatic location change in the middle of the fight.
