An urban development plan is underway in Illumina City! The aim of this plan is to make the city a place that Pokémon and humans alike can truly share. Shortly after your arrival, you choose one of these partner Pokémon to accompany you on your journey: Endivie, Floink or Karnimani. Together with your partner Pokémon, you can explore the streets of this huge city or visit wild sectors - habitats where you will come across wild Pokémon. If you want to catch one, you have to aim precisely and then throw a Pokéball at it or catch it with the help of the Pokémon in your team.

New, dynamic battles
For the very first time, trainers and their Pokémon will run together and interact in real time during a battle. Pokémon perform their attacks as soon as their trainers ask them to. Pay attention to the timing when switching your Pokémon, the different durations until an attack goes off, and the size of an attack's area of effect.
