Our Hum Eliminator uses our custom-built, in-house isolation transformers to break ground loops that cause hum and buzz. The Hum Eliminator also converts between balanced and unbalanced connections, preventing the cable from acting as an antenna for interference. Simply place one channel of the Hum Eliminator at the cable connections between the two offending devices. The Hum Eliminator does not affect audio quality; it enhances it. We use 1/4" Smart-Jacks that accept any combination of unbalanced (TS) or balanced (TRS) plugs. These are passive devices (no power required), housed in cold-rolled steel enclosures, with hand-soldered circuit boards and components, as well as top-quality hardware.
