Rackstuds are an alternative to traditional cage nuts. It is much easier to mount your 19" devices with this product because they are inserted from the front and provide a place to support your devices while you turn the securing nut. The rackstuds are made from a non-conductive, fiber-reinforced thermoplastic (Grivory), so they pose no electrical hazard to you or your equipment. The maximum weight capacity is 20 kg per 4 rackstuds. Red rackstuds are fully compatible with our Nexpand platform. Purple rackstuds are required for our open rack solution LCS3.
