The Lindy HDMI ARC Audio Downmix Decoder extracts high-quality audio signals and distributes them to digital and analog audio outputs. It offers excellent audio and video performance for a top-notch audio experience in movies, music, and gaming. With CEC Passthrough, you can easily synchronize the TV sound and speaker sound, allowing you to adjust the TV volume with your regular remote control. Power is supplied through a separate Micro-USB port, which connects to the USB port of the source device, so no separate power supply is required.
The converter's Dolby Digital decoder function ensures that Dolby Digital audio signals are downmixed to analog stereo without compression or loss of audio quality. Supporting PCM sample rates up to 192 kHz and Dolby Digital sample rates up to 48 kHz, music and movies can be enjoyed as intended by the artists and sound engineers - with more detail and clarity. The flexible operation across all audio formats and the status LEDs indicating a Dolby Digital encoded audio source or power make for a simple, straightforward installation and use.
