These scenarios include connecting two source devices in split-screen layouts, providing a useful setup for small-scale CCTV or supporting content in retail environments, to connecting 9 inputs for use in traffic monitoring or TV broadcasting facilities. Resolutions of up to 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz are supported, ensuring an optimal viewing experience in detailed digital signage, security, or broadcasting installations. Switching can be easily controlled by the user via the push button on the main unit or through the IR remote control, which also allows for seamless switching between layout modes.

The switch also enables scaling of the output resolution to maintain consistent image quality within a setup, as well as independent audio switching from the connected HDMI devices, making it perfect for adding music or alternative commentary to video content from a separate HDMI source. Both functions can also be easily controlled via the IR remote control. The serial RS-232 switching can also be used for control via a PC connection.
