The Limetree Network II is a high-quality network player that can play music from streaming services like Spotify, Qobuz, or Tidal, as well as from USB storage devices in studio-master quality. It connects to the network via a LAN cable or Wi-Fi. The USB port allows for the connection of hard drives, external CD drives, or USB storage devices to play the music stored on them. The Limetree Network II also features Bluetooth functionality, enabling wireless music playback from smartphones, tablets, or laptops. The A2DP Bluetooth audio transmission protocol ensures the highest sound quality. In addition to an analog line-level output for connecting a power amplifier or active speakers, the network player also includes a high-quality headphone jack. The circuitry of the Limetree Network II is optimized for the best sound characteristics. All music files are resynchronized with a highly precise FemtoClock: the processed data is free from jitter, the most common cause of poor digital playback. The sound is open, natural, and faithfully follows the recording. A high-quality medical-grade power supply is used for power, ensuring particularly high isolation from disturbances in the power grid. Together with the elaborate filtering within the device and special voltage regulators, an exceptionally low-noise power supply with noise levels below 10µV has been achieved. The Limetree Network II is primarily controlled via the Lindemann app, which is available for both Android and iOS. In addition to the smartphone version, there is also a special landscape mode version for tablets. The app allows for smooth and intuitive browsing and searching.
