This small FM radio, fully encased in a waterproof rubber shell, is a true design icon. In March 2000, the Marc Berthier design even made it to the cover of the US news magazine Time. Almost a quarter of a century later, the radio is now in its third revision from Lexon, featuring a built-in USB rechargeable battery that lasts up to twenty hours of operation. Additionally, it now includes Bluetooth connectivity for external signal sources, allowing music or audiobooks to be streamed.

What remains is the fun. Because in its all-encompassing, splash-proof rubber casing, the radio follows you into the shower, to the bathtub, on the balcony and terrace, right into the garden, by the pool and beach, or into the workshop or kitchen. Its small, splash-proof housing with a monochrome and rather technical appearance has a particularly surprising detail: station selection is done by rotating the antenna base. The silicone-coated buttons ensure that even with wet hands, you can easily tune into the right station and adjust the volume.
