The Kingston KC2500 1TB M.2 SSD does not have PCIe 4.0, but in the test it shows what is still possible with PCIe 3.0. It has some of the highest transfer rates among the PCIe 3.0 SSDs and has the strongest read and write performance overall. With fast access times and a high number of operations per second (iops), the KC2500 1TB can even compete with one or two other SSDs with PCIe 4.0...
Kingston KC2500 NVMe
1000 GB, M.2 2280Product details
Kingston's KC2500 NVMe PCIe SSD delivers powerful performance with its Gen 3.0 x 4 controller and 96-layer 3D TLC NAND. The KC2500 offers excellent endurance and enhances workflow in desktop, workstation, and HPC (High-Performance Computing) systems. Its compact M.2 design provides greater flexibility, increases storage capacity, and saves space. The KC2500 is a self-encrypting drive that supports end-to-end data protection using hardware-based XTS-AES 256-bit encryption and allows the use of independent software vendors with TCG Opal 2.0 security management solutions. Additionally, the KC2500 features built-in support for Microsoft eDrive, a security storage specification for use with BitLocker.
