Product details

With the Intel Optane Series, Intel presents compact M.2 modules that are equipped with 3D XPoint memory cells and thus no longer rely on NAND flash. The modules are primarily intended to serve as system accelerators and can cache frequently used data in this 16 GB version. This means that especially extremely large HDD data carriers can approach or even surpass the transfer speeds of SSD hard disks. Comparatively large SSD hard drives are much more expensive in most cases, which is why the investment in a large desktop HDD with Intel Optane module can be well worth it.
