The iRig Pro I/O combines an audio and MIDI interface in a compact and portable housing, making it the first mobile interface that allows all devices and instruments needed for recording to be connected and linked to a PC, Mac, tablet, or smartphone. It offers 24-bit/96kHz studio recording quality on the go, regardless of the equipment connected—studio or live microphone, guitar, bass, keyboards, sound modules, or MIDI controllers. For studio microphones, 48V phantom power can be activated at the XLR input. The perfect level is set using the gain control. The input is designed as a combo input, providing an additional Hi-Z input for instruments with varying output levels, which can also be optimally adjusted with the gain control. The 1/8" headphone output, including a volume control, allows the recorded signal to be sent to a mixer, amplifier, or headphones. The MIDI In and Out ports are used to connect all types of MIDI devices (keyboards, controllers, effects), and the necessary cables are included in the package. The iRig Pro I/O is powered by the included batteries or via the (also included) USB cable when connected to a PC or Mac laptop. With the optional power supply, an iPad or iPhone connected via the (also included) Lightning cable can also be charged. The package also includes an extensive software bundle consisting of Amplitube for iOS, Amplitube 4 for PC/Mac, Sampletank 3 SE, and T-Racks Deluxe with Mic Room.
