This provides a platform for all requirements and budgets. Starting from LTO-3, LTO Ultrium WORM data cartridges allow the creation of compatible, permanent, and tamper-proof archives. From LTO-4 onwards, secure AES-256 encryption offers an even higher level of data security and compliance concerning the strictest industry-specific regulations to prevent unauthorized data access. From LTO-5 onwards, using tape drives is as simple, flexible, mobile, and intuitive as with other removable and shared storage media, thanks to the HPE LTO Ultrium Linear Tape File System.
