WinTV quadHD features four simultaneously usable DVB-C tuners. These can be used simultaneously for live television, recording, or pausing channels. All integrated DVB-C tuners can be accessed through the single existing antenna connection. Major cable providers in Germany, such as Kabel Deutschland or Unitymedia, offer many unencrypted DVB-C TV channels. SD channels are broadcast in MPEG-2 format and HD channels in H.264 format.
