The GK0545T-82TQD is a Traveler tripod/head set that includes the lightest GT0545T tripod and the GH1382TQD central ball head. The Traveler tripods feature a 180° leg folding system developed by Gitzo, which utilizes folded space more efficiently by accommodating the center column and head between the folded tripod legs. They are now even stronger with the state-of-the-art "Carbon eXact" tubes, more space-saving with the compact Traveler G-lock, more professional with the smooth and precise heads, and easier to transport with the included shoulder strap.

The GT0545T tripod is the first Traveler tripod in Series 0 ever produced. With its slim leg tubes, it is the lightest Traveler tripod, yet surprisingly stable thanks to the rigid Carbon eXact tubes. It is a 4-segment tripod with a short closed length and a short extended height.

The GH1382TQD head has been designed with a focus on ultimate smoothness and precision of movement and locking, while being slim enough to fit between the folded legs. It does not feature a friction control but has an independent pan lock. There are no compromises on the smoothness of the ball (WS2 coating) and the hardness of the external and internal components.

The head can be easily removed to attach other heads to the top plate of the tripod, but it is recommended to use the GH1382TQD head to ensure a perfect fit of the head between the folded legs.
