The WINDFORCE cooling system features two 90mm fans with unique blades that make direct contact with the GPU. Alternately rotating and active 3D fans work together to provide highly efficient heat dissipation. They reduce turbulence from neighboring fans and increase air pressure. GIGABYTE rotates the adjacent fans in the opposite direction, ensuring that the airflow direction between the two fans is the same, which reduces turbulence and increases airflow pressure.
The airflow is divided by the triangular fan edge and evenly directed through the 3D strip curve on the fan surface, effectively improving airflow. The 3D active fan offers semi-passive cooling, and the fans remain off when the GPU is under low load or low power during gaming. This allows gamers to enjoy gameplay in complete silence when the system is idle.
