Playing an acoustic guitar with overdrive? Challenging. It can easily sound unmusical or produce unwanted feedback. The fully analog Smolder Acoustic Overdrive elegantly solves this problem with Fender® expertise: The Pickup Compensation feature smooths out the sharp attack of a piezo pickup, making the highs sound much softer. The Drive control adjusts the amount of distortion, and the 3-band EQ with filter allows for tone shaping. A smart detail: the cabinet simulation. This gives the sound more space when playing through a large amp or PA system. The Smolder Acoustic Overdrive, along with its circuitry, is an original Fender® creation. The super lightweight housing is made of sturdy anodized aluminum. The Amp Jewel LED is, of course, a stylistic nod to classic Fender® amps. Thanks to the switchable LED lighting, the controls are easily readable even on a dark stage.
